FC7 Plum Crazy Purple paint question

Lots of info here, but here is my 2 cents.

Any light color where you want it to pop “light” I use a white mid coat over a light grey primer. For FC7, I would use a primer color as close as possible to the final color and you need to decide if you want the purple to “pop” or be “dark”. So for me I would use a red primer and no mid coat unless you want a “lighter” purple, then use light grey primer and a silver mid coat (trust me) it will make a serious difference. For white I use a fleet ford white because it’s uber-cheap, for silver I use whatever my guy can mix up cheap it’s usually a Honda color but the greyscales these days are cheap.

Btw- price white vs yellow or orange, the price is crazy different.
