I will say this. When you make a pass or drive the car for several miles, get your torque wrench back on the lug nuts and keep torquing them until they quit coming loose.

Regardless of how well the taper is machined on the lug nuts and and the wheel, that **** moves around until it gets enough load bearing area to stay torqued.
Is that only the case with acorn-style nuts, or do shank style lugnuts loosed too?
