I talked with the owner of the company.. They started making these for Pontiac's, Buick's and Chevy's 35 years ago.
He says they have 30 and 35 year old gears still in service with no appreciable wear.
I asked about using with High Pressure and or High Volume oil pumps. He said no problems at all.
