999 lock up wiring problem

on an A500 there are three wires that go into the trans. A hot wire for the system, a ground wire for the lock up solenoid and a ground wire for the overdrive. I hooked the ground wires to two switches that complete the ground to a serious body ground. The hot wire is connected to a keyed source. Hit one switch to engage the overdrive, the other to engage the lock up. Simple and completely under my control.
