Horse feathers. I bet there's not 3HP difference between my 7.25 and this 9". In fact, going from a 3.23 in the 7.25 to a 4.11 in the 9" probably makes up for it and then some.
Ehh , its been tested.. and yeah maybe 3 hp on a 145 hp slant.. but testing showed 13hp loss at 500 hp over say a 8.75 or 7.25 especially. Dana 60 eats less. Its all in the hypoid design
