I think people on here are saying you can place the order without knowing the shipping charge. Then if you do nothing else you will be charged the total.
Yes you can... And they have a system in place so you get the total before completion. LOL NOT THAT HARD.... Is it nice to have the total right now, sure. If it is a deal breaker even with the approach they have in place... see the next sentence
Don't shop with them if the instant gratification of not knowing the total stresses you out so badly. SIMPLE.
Trust me when you have an idiot buyer that thinks shipping a set of headers or a complete floor pan across the country shouldn't be more than $15, it's a tough deal. Shipping costs sucks now and they are changing for the worse all the time. Do I think a charge of $20 or move above the actual postage rate is excessive, ABSOLUTELY... not my cross to bear.
And the comments of "pretty simple actually" and "never hearing of this" display naivete of the subject. I bet it would cost mancini a couple hundred thousand dollars to implement YOUR solution... cut them a check when you are ready. :)
