Heater instrument panel differences for 67?

Unrelated, but in the vicinity. Did the glovebox only have a spring on one side? Mine has a bad habit of opening itself if I punch the throttle, and while I was taking it off for my A/C install I noticed that the left hinge didn't have a spring, though it looked like it had mounting holes for one. I thought maybe that's why it opens more easily, but looking at the parts diagrams it appears to only call out a spring on the right side (well, the description is "All, Rt."). Was thinking I'd add the second one to keep it shut better, but looking like maybe it's not missing after all?
Probably a bit late reply but yes...kinda...I have a LATE production 67 cuda and the only spring was on the right hand side hinge. the other hinge did not have one. My 67 Dart GT was made on Dec 5th of 66 and it has a spring on the left and right hinge. The left one wore unevenly and basically oversized the rotating pin and it closed cockeyed. I have a suspicion thats why they went to one spring and then got rid of the 2 hinges altogether in 68+
