DOES THE HDK SUSPENSION K-MEMBER HANDLE BETTER THAN A T-BAR SUSPENSION?
I'll use this gigantic trophy as an exclamation point to end this entire conversation. I could be a smartass and address each and every dumb comment, but I'll take the high road and just let the pictures do the talking for me.
2nd in autox out of 20 vintage cars, 4th in autox overall out of 71.
Grand Champion is a total package based on points given for finishing position in autox, drag race, and speed stop. That superbee in front of me has all the new Speedtech suspension. All the cars behind me, torsion bars...
Was I the fastest at every event? Nope. Does that matter? Nope. What matters is putting a car together a well performing car that can survive the grueling weekend of abuse and place high enough in each event to get the most points. As a driver, the car is very confidence inspiring. Leaving people speechless after they go for a ride is my new favorite thing. There's plenty more for me to learn as a driver, but dammit its a blast to drive.
