Upgrading my distributor any suggestions on equipment, etc.? Thanks!

First off, what's the reason for wanting an upgrade? I can think of a lot of possible answers, and they all have different recommendations. And one constant: A good distributor advance curve is a big key to performance, and many people overlook it.

1. "I just don't want to deal with adjusting points." - Pertronix Ignitor is the easy option here.
2. "The motor is stock, but I still think there may be some horsepower to gain." - Tuning the advance curve is the real secret to making power in this case.
3. "My race motor is misfiring from 7,000 RPM up to its 8,500 RPM redline." - Some will disagree with me here, but my personal preference for ultra high RPM is a capacitive discharge system like an MSD.
4. "I need to light off 15 psi of boost" or "I need to light off a 200 hp shot of nitrous" - These are also going to call for something more exotic, but exactly what will depend on the details of your build and what other electronics are on there.
5. "I've got a modified motor, but not that crazy" - Post the details of what you've got.
