Did anybody saw this important video of Joe Zolper

Earlier this year I visited the Petersen museum in Los Angeles. There was a section there featuring pre war cars. I know there are people that like them but I have no interest in them at all. Our big car museum in Sacramento also has similar era cars and I feel the same way about seeing them. At some point it occurred to me that the old timers liked those cars and they are fading away. Further, my generation will likely follow in similar fashion like Joe said in that video but it is either arrogance or opinion that the muscle car era cars were different. I think while popularity will fade, it may not lose popularity like the pre 1950s cars will.

Agreed. Popularity will fade but 60s/70s era muscle cars are still widely thought of as the best looking cars. Even by people who wouldn't necessarily own one.

I'll drive my car past a group of kids walking down the street and when I look in the mirror, there's always one kid that snaps his head around to check it out while the rest of them don't give a ****. That kid's got what we've got.
