The black Dart was 572ci and the red Duster has an aluminum RB. Owner said he is an 8.50 1/4. The owner of the Red RR has had the car for roughly 40 years. We got to talking about SFT combinations, and the .590/312 DC solid. I was surprised when he said it was done by 5800 in his RB with 4.30:1. He switched to a .660 lift comp SFT, and he said it picked up beyond 6000, but he took out some teeth on the ring gear of his 8 3/4 and switched to a Dana with 4.10:1. NHRA had them constrained to 1/8th for some reason. Really nice folks!
