OEM Fuel Sender Accuracy
I filled up today and thought I would share.
I have a 70s OEM supersedes fuel sender (the one that is shaped like the aftermarket ones) in my 18 gallon tank - 67 Dart.
The gauge needle was exactly 1/2 way between 1/4 and 1/2 tank or 3/8
3/8th of 18 gallons is 6.75 gallons in the tank
18 - 6.75 = 11.25
I filled up till the nozzle clicked off and put 11.203 Gallons in.
I think the factory knew what they were doing!
