Somethings the site does that I don't agree

I do know this from 1st hand experience .
I have worked in a stamping house for most of my life,,,,making automotive parts .
Most of the time we follow the book .
But there have been hundreds of times we have not .
It’s just the way it is to keep the product moving and the doors open there .
I have personally been involved with the manufacture of over 200 million parts,,,yes,,,millions .

I couldn’t tell you how many were stamped with the wrong I.D. Number .
Yes,,,call the OEM,,,,tell them the issue .
They write a deviation,,,,and we ship .

Form,,Fit,,and Function .
If it passes those criteria,,,,it will sail down the highway,,,,when the going gets tough .

Sorry,,,,,not all things are as the books and brochures say .
And Mopar was as guilty as anyone when it absolutely had to be built and shipped out .

Until you have worked in automotive,,,,you have no idea !
