I get what your saying, To me depends what your goals are, most seem to stroke to make X hp at lower rpms, most seem they would rather have a 500 hp 408 @ 5,800 rpm than a at 6,500 rpm with a 360, and maybe a 500 hp at 5,400 rpm with a 434 is to tame for some but could be desirable for others, especially the Max low end torque guys and or people that want to run 2.76-3.23 gears.
