Actually, I found a post by Ron where he was talking about the 501.
Apparently my memory isn’t that good.
The engine had a limited number of passes on it and dropped a valve.
During the repair of that situation, other problems were discovered, and all was corrected.
There seems to be about a year of missing info(on the thread I was looking at), where during that time a decision was made to sell the car, and then the motor.
I didn’t read far enough along to figure out where that engine ended up.
