On my 1963 Valiant Signet, I need to find a Manufacture/Production Date.
I have sent an email to Stellantis regarding finding this information.

I have the VIN plate on the driver side door hinge pillar.

Would there have been another tag or numbers stamped elsewhere on the car, such as radiator core support, inner fenders?

Any help is appreciated.

There should be a fender tag on the drivers fender apron under the hood. Over by the battery. If it is not there, it has obviously been removed. Hope that Stelantis can help. Without a build sheet you are missing important pieces to the puzzle. Build sheets are often under the rear seat springs but may have gotten stuffed above the glove compartment, in bucket seat backs, and under carpeting. The build sheet is really the "tell all" document with all the details. Here is an example of a fender tag from a 1964.

Thank you for the reply.
I have not come across a body tag yet, I have seen a ten digit stamping across the radiator core support however. Could this mean anything, shipping order?

I am not familiar with the radiator support stampings for 63. If it doesn't match the VIN#, there's a good chance it's the SO number.

As mike said, the Fender tag should be next to the battery. If not you'll have two holes there where some previous owner may have kept it for a keepsake.
