63 Dodge Dart, now let me see;)

Don’t feel bad , my Holly 1 v had to have starting fluid to start and had to be thoroughly warmed up before you could even try to accelerate.
I pulled it apart and found that the accelerator pump diaphragm was completely stiff, unable to move, nada .
I ordered a carb kit from Rock Auto for $58 , it’s a Standard Auto parts kit. I had priced a kit from NAPA they wanted $85 ,I asked why so high they said it’s becoming obsolete.

Well now the accelerator pump works like it should. I believe the 10% Ethanol gas is the cause.
Back in 2017 I rebuilt the carb with an old kit that was made before Ethanol started being mixed in. I also blame it for taking out my fuel pump then .
Hopefully the new kit came put up with the new fuels .

This is a stopgap repair as I want to install my Offy 4 v manifold with throttle body injection .
