Why would a thread get dumped when the only purpose of it was to help others?

I agree. I see cars in the Junkyard with prices on the windshield where they tried to sell them whole but must not have garnered enough interest.
This Dart had no prices on it. It was set in the yard 10-7-25. It was complete. The filler neck smelled like Turpentine!
