Why would a thread get dumped when the only purpose of it was to help others?

Censorship is alive and well.. it's very much a case of opinions/thoughts and feelings that determine whether a post stays or not. The random deleting, and reasoning is typical of the it didn't fit the mold or narrative type. Other posts get locked or replies get deleted. Definitely a well oiled machine with set boundaries and limitations all based on time of day and moods therein.

Ain't that the truth. If a post breaks the rules, it'd be nice to know which one so the poster is less likely to do it again. This particular instance doesn't seem to make any sense considering there are similar threads in the exact same section for the exact same purpose.
