If you didn't see the television coverage of the NHRA Texas Nationals yesterday, the only thing you can do now is watch one of the re-air broadcasts listed on the nhra.com website. All of the re-air broadcasts will be on FS2.
Here in SoCal the original television broadcast was shown on a local FOX sister station (KCOP, channel 13) known as “Fox 11 Plus,” a reference to the branding used by KTTV (channel 11), which is the Fox-owned station in the market.
When I turned to local channel 13 at the listed time they started to broadcast some soccer crap. The Texas Nationals finals show started 47 minutes later and the entire two-hour show was broadcast. However, it was not what we are used to seeing because not every run in the professional categories was shown as they tried to cram the usual 3-hour show into two hours. Even some of the Top Fuel and Funny Car elimination runs were shown as quickie "highlights", if they were shown at all. Extremely disappointing.
