So got looking, with the price of how cheap this stroker bottom end is, is there any reason to deal with paying for all the machinework on a block and buying a 2-3000$ rotating assembly to still have to assemble it yourself?
Only big downsides I see is not knowing where the pistons are in relation to the deck and how much confidence I have in the care that goes into one of these mass produced reman motors. Seems you also have to provide a 360 block as a core too, or it’s an extra $260.
Big downside is not knowing if the machine work is correct or the assembly is correct. When you assemble it yourself you can rest assured that it was put together correctly. Or at least I can.
