American Autowire Classic Update Kit with Mopar Drive By Wire Pedal Incompatibility.
I'm Installing a 6.4 in my 69 Notchback. I purchaced an American Autowire Classic Update Kit - 1967-75 Mopar A Body a while back. P/N 510603.
This appears to be the most complete kit you can buy if you want to update nearly every electrical component in an A-Body. Fuse box - wiring - sockets - plugs - most everything. This kit replaces the Mopar firewall bulkhead connector with a fuse box / larger bulkhead connector by enlarging the original square hole. Classic Update Kit - 1967-75 Mopar A Body

USCT motorsports makes a super clean and adjustable Drive by Wire pedal Bracket that utilizes the factory gas pedal mounting holes..
USCT1M2083-Gen3 Hemi DBW Drive by Wire Bracket for A-Body 67
This pedal bracket actually creates space around the existing bulkhead plug when compared to any other way to attach it to the firewall.
This American Auto Wire Kit uses a fuse box that measures nearly 6"x5" So its not going to work with a drive by wire pedal.
Dead Dodge Garage installed the E body version of of this kit
The Fun really starts a 10 minutes. This is an E body the lay out provides way! more room than an A-Body
On an A-Body the 2 components over lap. Even if you remove The USCT Bracket and could get the Drive BY Wire Pedal to levitate it would still be directly in front of the fuse box making it useless.
I asked everyone involved before purchasing this if it would work and all were completely honest, they didn't know. Unfortunately for me I purchased the Harness a couple years ago from one of big speed shops in Ohio. Its continents are un opened. I will be listing it for sale at a discount.
