This is a odd question I suppose but what do people do with empty NOS boxes after you used the part inside? I have quite a few boxes. I don't think I have the heart to just throw them out but yet I really don't want bins full of tiny empty boxes laying around lol. Am I way too OCD?

I kinda/sorta have the same problem. :BangHead:
What I'm starting to do is disassemble the small boxes so they can lay flat, then mount them on a display board that can hang on the shop wall. Problem with that is it takes up room on the wall that should have shelves, to hold boxes that still have parts in them...

Many guys have ads or auctions and the box has the flap with part number torn off and they are pimping the part as NOS Chrysler.

I saw auctions on eBay in early 2000's for a lot of empty Chrysler boxes.

I have a mopar parts cabinet and I wouldn't mind filling it up with the empty boxes. Would look neat.

What era are they from?

Early 70s.

I have a shelf with old NOS parts boxes on it, looks like an old Chrysler parts department. Most of the boxes have used parts in them after I used the NOS parts. Not to worry, I don't sell them...

I have the same issue but with all brands of ignition boxes. Great to fill up a old ignition cabinet.

I think about this a lot lol. As cool as old boxes are or anything any of us collect, I have to go eh is this actually worth keeping or am I just hoarding? lol. I agree the collage idea makes a lot of sense.

How many copies of that book do you have laying around the house, attic, and garage?

Here's the thing:
I build my cars to be what I like, not what I think the next owner after I'm gone may like.
Likewise, if I like something enough to keep it around (in one form or another), that's what I do. I couldn't care less what the next person down the line thinks- I'm gone anyway, but I enjoyed it while I was here.

Hahahahah truth be told I was helping someone declutter their house. Giant mess. Took days and a dumpster. In the midst of the sorting I found this book. I assure you it was not read lol.
