Thanks for the help. Intermittent automatic transmission sometimes it wont move in any gear.

After I made sure it was full at hot idle in neutral I'd be looking into that modified aftermarket shifter.

If there was damage at the converter/front pump are it would be a continuous problem

It was almost a pint low. I added 12 ounces and so far so good. I will take out around town as soon as I can. My shifter worked as designed prior to the motor swap but you never know.
