I’m more concerned about condensation and rust than I am about a heating bill. I ran out of time to have a NG line run out to the building, and while I could get a propane conversion kit and a tank for the furnace, I can’t see keeping the space at 55* when parts of the ceiling are uninsulated, as I’d need an awfully big tank.

And if I warm the space up, and then let it cool down, and then warm it up again (etc, etc), it’s just gonna rain in there every time that warm humid air hits that cold ceiling. Not to mention the cold tools.

I’ll be pulling all of the trucks in next weekend and I’ll put them up for a long winters nap. Again.

And after that, I need a break. Or a good long vacation. Somewhere peaceful, and warm, with nothing that needs fixing.
I've seen those "raining" roofs ruin paint jobs. Good call.
