A833 - Upgrade to 3 pad steel 1-2 shift fork?
IDK either.
I've been running steel forks and a Passon cover, for a few years now, cuz of the interlock mechanism, which seems to keep the trans in gear better, and because the forks seem easier to repair.
If you are retrofitting a steel fork, to the older covers, by cutting the interloc-pin off the end, IDK, to me that kindof defeats the best part of using a steel fork.
and
I mean they say the brass forks break the pivot pins, but in all my decades of banging gears with brass forks, I never broke one.
EDIT,
Upon reflection, I might broke one.
