I’m a hardcore sb guy so my vote is swayed lol. That being said when I was 16yrs old in 1996 my 1st motor I raced with was a non rebuilt motor home 360. I put stock x heads on it a 509cam and a strip dom intake and went 12.22@108 and change at 3250. Just used what was available to me. For comparison another friend this summer put together a motor home 440, stone stock non rebuilt bottom end. He put a set of 516 heads on it a mp 484, fenderwell headers in a duster for his daughter’s 1st strip ride. He put a tunnel ram and 2 600s on it. Very 1st time at the track this summer it went 11.63@114 something. Weighed 3100 something with her in it. Just 2 for a comparison for this topic.
