Depends what the car is, 440 dart, I'm buying if it smells like Gorilla farts. I'm an old smoker of cigarettes and kind of like the smell, from a distance. I think broccoli smells a little like cigarettes, :D but that's me. when buying something, I always go through my car's interior with pro cleaners, and have gotten rid of many odors in them. I would not walk away from a great deal because of the smell.

Unless there was a dead body in the trunk or back seat, I'm not worried about it. My current daily driver had a nasty odor in the interior when I bought it, but at the price I paid, it was the least of my concerns. I pulled everything except the headliner and cleaned it all with a carpet and upholstery cleaner. Took one Saturday afternoon to get it done, and over 2 years later the smell hasn't come back.
