Not quite the same. Quadrajets, Dualjets and Monojets were manufactured by Rochester Products, a wholly owned subsidiary of GM.
Chrysler buying Rochester carburetors from GM to put on their cars is the same as buying Saginaw power steering pumps like the one that came on my '69 Super Bee.
GM is still making fuel delivery parts in the same facility where they made Q-jets.
