I just talked to his friend. He had the car 55 years. The super bee exploded on impact , they were going to that ice cream stand in the picture. The car had 1/4 tank of fuel his wife was with him. They were going to fill up but she wanted ice cream first.
. One thing about those b-bodies in those years was the fuel fill was behind the license plate. Looks like the exhaust tip is under the rear. There is more pics of the car on his face book page.
It was a beautiful car. I would tell her insurance to send it to Graveyard Carz. With the bodily injury claim for burns filed you usually can get what ever you want. Yes it was a young girl and they said she was going over 100 MPH passing cars. 3 cars burned completely. from what I was told the PT cruiser was not involved in the collision it just caught fire
