You don’t have to just disagree, you actually have proof.

You can disagree but I’ve pulled stock piston pieces from the pans of at least three 440s over the last forty years that I can remember. These were cores but I’ve also seen plenty of broken skirts.

Likely from tuning mistakes. Cast pistons can take a beating, they just can’t take detonation.
