Grille, from Demon to Dart!
So I bought a new grille for my 70 Swinger, and of course it came painted for a Demon, so of course I could not leave it like that, it had to be painted.... Ugh.
Wow, good thing I used to be an autobody painter, talk about masking, masking and more masking, tiny little detail taping and touching up, not a job for the faint of heart!
But holy, what a difference it makes, not to shame the Demon, but I really prefer the way the silver brings out the fins on the Dart paint scheme. Im ultra pleased with how it looks.
For those wondering, I used Duplicolor Mopar Bright Silver Metallic PS2 over a Duplicolor adhesion promotor, and the match looks excellent to the silver that the grille already came with.
And for those who are REALLY observant, yes, I realized my taping mistakes on the len's and headlight surrounds and I had to go back and fix them..... double Ugh.
