I’ll admit that I’ve been burned by my stubbornness. I flew in to St. Louis from California to go hunting with my brother up at Kirksville 20 years ago. Only thing came through on the luggage carousel was my rifle case. The bag containing all my clothes and ammunition nowhere to be seen. Walmart fixed everything I needed at 11 o’clock at night but they don’t carry 280 ammo. I now always travel with a 30-06 or 270 back up rifle.
