Lesson learned the hard way. Making mistakes is part of growing up.
That being said, who among us hasn't done something similar and luckily didn't crash. I came really close a few times.

Really glad hes ok too. I made my share when younger as well, almost died rolling my dads '69 Mercy Cyclone 390HP going down a hill on a grid(gravel) road when I was 15. Too much power in that car for a fairly new driver, was thrown out of the car and still cant believe Im alive today.
My dad used to say that a youngster shouldnt have anything too nice, or too powerful for their first car, and I fully agree with that.
But man, still glad hes ok.
