AC removal to just heat

most AC vs non-AC belt systems are set up completely differently. For example a small block AC equipped 1970 Dodge uses a double belt for the alternator, AC compressor and crank pulley - in front of that is a single belt that runs the water pump, power steering pump and hits the crank. The Non-AC system runs the alternator, water pump and crank on one belt and separate single belt for the power steering pump. The crank and water pump pulleys are completely different in the two systems. Once you put the alternator on non-AC brackets (completely different) you can use either the AC double pulley with one belt, or the non-AC single pulley. The water pump pulley which is a different depth is also a different diameter so the AC pulley spins the water pump faster that the Non-AC pulley.
