It is a well designed chamber. Your cast iron head chambers are horrible. Aluminium dissipates heat way better, usually people can safely run a full point more of compression with aluminum heads.
I Milled my trickflows down to 64 cc's and have no issues with pinging. I run an octane booster and av gas 100 LL.
I would advise trying to work out your tune, it sounds like it's either going really lean up at full throttle or you have too much timing at full throttle.

oh wow, 64cc? Is yours a big block also? Wonder why all the others are 84cc and TF are 78? Would the 78cc work with the pistons i have with the 2.062 compression height? I do know the pistons are a little below the deck still..like.014-.020 below the deck i believe..
