What is it with some people..

Don't need you to tell me what I should do with my car. I am quite proud of what I did to this car within the parameters I described. The car is fine and will last a long time . Yes, you can legitimately do a " no weld " " I doubt you've seen a fiberglass/bondo repair done on this scale that was treated and sealed from the elements.
You described and clearly typed!
You cut a piece of metal one inch larger than a hole.
Then mixed up Bondo and used it as glue, and placed metal in wet uncured filler. When hard mixed some additional Bondo up to put more on to hide the metal. With the intention of spraying paint and undercoat to hide what you did if anyone looked.
And put Bondo filler on the outside. Where did you get this idea? Eating Orero cookies?
Sorry but Bondo Sandwiches don't preserve anything
