IHRA buys the WDRA What does that mean for the racers?
Trying to keep this short as possible =
A local guy won the season series (world championship) the last year they were in business , don't remember what class , maybe super stock , or stock , anyway he went to the awards banquet , ''seems like it was in Arizona''.
anyway the big honcho owner would not pay off , local guy ended up sueing the hell out of them , seems like a bunch of other people jumped on the band wagon in the lawsuit and put them out of business . Fruad and other stuff , the owner was pocketing a lot of the winnings of the small time guys don't know how much $ he wound up with , but was very substantial ---- but I think it was substantual!!
