Hi y’all I’ve been a long time lurker here and decided I should make an account and start posting a few things here. I got this 67 cuda notchback 3 years ago from a family friend who just didn’t have the time to work on it anymore, which was perfect because me and my grandpa had been looking for one of these to build together for a couple years now. When we got it all the car had was a mostly finished body and a new 8 3/4 rear end with 3.55s if I recall correct so I’ve had total freedom on what to do to the car. So far it’s been a fairly stock restoration just to get it on the road in a reasonable time. We ended up sourcing a 318 that we went through and made sure everything looked great and recently done. So naturally I slapped some shiny new parts onto a perfectly fine engine haha, got a set of performer rpm heads with a set of 1.6 roller rocker arms and a comp cams 274H with a .010 regrind. Now I’m prepping the interior to be repainted and then finish up wiring and hopefully break that engine in soon. Also attached is a rough timeline of the restoration.
