I had played with this kind of setup once with some J heads in mine so that I could fit a 1.80. I was younger and broke, I filed the caps to make them lil shallower because I had already ground the tips some when I set up the wear pattern of these roller rockers I was using.. got it centered.. but then a cam change necessitated more spring height and well.. tail chasing began. I ended up changing the valve job a little putting it a hair further down which actually helped and the flow department and found a kmotion spring to sue my needs...so I skipped the cap idea and theyre in a bag somewhere in one of my valvetrain parts cabinets.
