I have one of the best head porters in the country about 40 miles from me. He says most all of the chinkese castings are excellent as far as the casting itself. It's the details they fall short on.
Example. If you buy Speedmaster heads bare, they have a two angled valve job on the intake. If you buy the heads loaded, they have a three angle valve job. You can just barely see the little 30 top cut.
Regardless of how you buy them, they all have a ledge around the seats and need chamber deshrouding. The guides usually need a little reaming too.
