Looking into doing my first paint job next year.
SS and the correct temp. reducer, that is the first hurdle! for me anyway. The few good guys can lay down SS to look like clear. I am sure not one of them.
Way back in the 70s' my old dad, that had never sprayed anything, did a color change for me on a 2 horse inline trailer. F8 yea the dark green met.. had to have been acrylic enamel, over (I even knew) way to much red oxide primer. Flawless. All he had was a borrowed Sears compressor, had what a 8 or 10 gal tank, and a Sears siphon gun. I am still amazed how he did it. But he was a perfectionist.
He could self teach himself just about anything.
