Anybody use one of the cheap fuel gauge converters?
I got the MeterMatch module yesterday and did a bench calibration using my DC power supply and a bunch of resistors. I used a sending unit curve that I found here at FABO. Full and Empty readings were taken from my factory sending unit back when I had it out a year ago. Its now calibrated and ready to install. I can fine tune it once my cluster goes back in and spring arrives in 4 or 5 months. After watching the video and reading the instructions (most of it :)) it was pretty straightforward. I had one issue initially and called Tanks Inc. The old guy on the phone was able to help out although he didn't initially recall that using resistors was an option. I had missed grounding the resistor. I set full and empty and then did 1/4 and 1/2. So far I am happy with the MeterMatch and Summit! This unit, unlike the Amazon ones, has 4 set points and I believe is a better although more costly unit.
