So….. ever over carburate?
I converted my Dutra built Slant 6 to a 2bbl set-up, and then fitted a Holley 2bbl on it in place of the factory style carb. I tried a 350cfm Holley and then a 500cfm Holley.
The 500cfm version made noticeably more top end power, but lost a huge amount of mid-range torque. I ended up running the 350 cfm Holley and sacrificed the bit of power on the top end for improved street manners and drivability.
