So….. ever over carburate?

I’m running the old Holley 1050 that was on our W5 mill. It’s a two circuit with BLP metering blocks and bowls that Dom worked over for me years ago when we went to the Brett Miller 4500 intake.
We’d ran a Mopar 598 intake (4150 flange) with a Braswell 4825 (1.68 Venturi 1.79 throttle bores). Now with our “smallish” cam in these circles we thought maybe the huge plenum on the Miller intake would perhaps soften the hit some….. we were wrong. We ran a best et and mph in Tucson….. thats a lot of altitude and we were pleasantly surprised except for the wheels up part. It was two weeks after that we went to Irwindale (close to sea level 29.99 baro) and stood it on the bumper. She liked breathing there I guess. It’d be fun to try a larger carb :)
I think it would be worth a shot. Especially with that Brett Miller intake depending how high your spinning it. I have an AED 1150 I’m willing to sell if you’d be interested. Worked great on my car.
