Brand New FTI 8 Inch Torque Converter (727).........................$795.00

I do not have that sheet available.

A "rough" estimate of the HP would be 500 based upon
our Superstock/Stock experience. Torque would be similar
and probably a bit more. Paul's stuff is plenty strong again for
a LOT more power than that and naturally as you power goes up
you stall speed goes up sort of proportionally.

Also do not confuse shock stall with what your converter will stall
against the brake (lower) and that adds a lot of different variables.
I am not a converter expert by any means and make not claims to
be one. However, I am an expert on spending a bunch of money buying
different converters for the Stock/SS cars and trying a 1/2 dozen of them.
All that to pick up a hundred or two of precious 60 FT time and ET. There
are probably 20 separate race converters in the shop on the shelf at any given time.

Now, If you put this converter on the trans brake against the 982HP Indy engine
in our bracket Dart this same converter would go 4800 to 5000. It is really a question
of the torque you put thru it.

This is a perfect converter for a Drag Car or a high performance Steet/Strip Weekend car. It would be
overkill for a stock or mild engine combo daily driver! It would be a waste of your money for that
purpose. Our Street/Strip Valiants go to Cruise Nights and shows but are not your mild daily driver
everyday grocery getters. Plus some Midnight High Dollar Street Racing but NOT to tow your boat
to the Lake.
