I fixed the bog on the AFB style by bending the pump rod.
It wanted WAY more pump shot than the 3rd hole.
This was a 750 on a 440 with a manual trans.

On my 318 Duster, I put the edelbrock large squirter and that helped some too. I didn't bend the rod, but that's probably a good idea.
