I had a 60amp denso alternator mounted in almost the same spot, and had trouble keeping them alive. Voltage would drop after about 15 minutes at operating temp. New alternator every year(oreily lifetime came in handy). I hope you have better luck!
So far it’s been on the car for awhile (3ish years if I had to guess) and hasn’t given me an issue but doesn’t have a whole ton of miles on it. Amperage wise it’s lacking at night with everything on but otherwise does good if it’s above idle. Time will tell but thankfully it’s a fairly common alternator if I do need one
