Make Your Own Vacuum Lines

For long runs (not usually in our cars), you can use 1/8" nylon tubing. I have a whole bag of it from scrapping a 1983 M-B 300D (one of my cars) and some 1980's Dodge cars at PicNPull. You use short rubber hose for connections at the end. One use in my 1960's Mopars was to rig a vacuum-operated coolant valve (block heater flow when AC is on), using generic parts (not rare $$$ OE 1960's parts).
