If I tried that, someone would 'buy a transmission' and agree to meet me somewhere and beat the everlovin' snot outta me.

That's not the only reason I don't do that crap, but it's certainly a part of it.

Maybe only get shops to do the work from now on? Or buy Tom Hand's book and dive in.
